Last day at Windsor
Today is my last day at Windsor Lush before I head off for more adventures in another store. I’m going to miss the Windsor crew they are all lovely & the shop is a beautiful one. Still we’re going to have lots of fun today as we’re focussing on all things girly including wearing pink & purple clothes, listening to girly music & demoing all the really girly products...

Teasday - Homecoming Tea
The tea I am writing about today is not a particular brand or blend. It is a wonderful, comforting, familiar beverage brewed for you by someone who cares for you upon your return home.  It doesn’t matter if the drink is stewed from sitting in the pot too long or if it has too much milk in it because it is a great big hug in a mug. This simple ritual is one that has existed between myself...

Teasday - Hibiscus Iced Tea
Today is a serving suggestion for the Hibiscus Tea I reviewed a short time ago. Brew 3 heaped teaspoons of petals in a pot so you have a strong syrupy concentrate.  Strain & allow to cool. Fill a glass per person with ice & a slice of lime. Pour 1-2 shots of infusion over the ice. Top up each glass with your preference of still or sparkling water (I prefer sparkling) Enjoy! Another...

Molehills
I’m fine with dealing with Mountains (big problems). Give me a major issue & I’ll find a way around it. What I utterly hate however are Molehills. By this I mean lots of little issues that wind you up & trip you over at various points throughout a day irritating you further & further until you either give up & cry or have a huge grump on & shout at the person who...

Teasday - Postponed
Apologies to my teasday readers. I have had to postpone today’s post as I have not been able to complete a review. Tris & I have been travelling & exploring today on our way back from Cornwall. Whilst in Cornwall I purchased a lovely Manuka tea which I shall review next week.

Injury - Geri is a wimp
So a couple of days ago I was sharpening the soap knives in the shop & wasn’t paying enough attention to what I was doing. Cue a nasty, deep cut to my left index finger that the paramedic who came to fix me said needed stitches.  I did not like the idea of stitches at all because it would have meant painful injections of anaesthetic which would have also prevented me from driving home...
