Continuing where we left off at the beginning of the self guided portion of the exhibition. You enter a huge room filled with sets, costumes & props. Some of my favourites are below:
The Yule Ball costumes including the gorgeous pinky/lilac dress worn by Hermione in “Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire”.
The centrepiece on this banquet table reminds me of the creations from Choccywoccydoodah!
The robes Ron wears to the Yule Ball are even more frilly when seen in real life!
The make up & wigs were awesome. I particularly liked the sketch showing the tattoos for Sirius Black!
The detail on everything is phenomenal, the Triwizard cup looks fantastic up close!
There were little bits of magic happening everywhere, check out the potions classroom!
Dolores Umbridge’s Ministry of Magic office is violently pink.
Even though she is one of the bad characters you have to admire the style of Bellatrix Lestrange. Her costume is brilliant!
From here we moved outside which we shall explore in part three!
