Here are a few Johnny Depp favourites (again in no particular order) that I think make great Halloween films:

From Hell (2001) - Albert & Allen Hughes Horror/Mystery/Thriller

 Jack The Ripper movie with some very dark, modern effects. A winner every time.

Sweeney Todd (2007) - Tim Burton Horror/Musical/Drama

Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter & Johnny Depp always work ridiculously well together. The added bonus of it being a favourite musical of mine makes it just brilliant.

Dark Shadows (2012) - Tim Burton Comedy/Fantasy

Ok so not a horror film but fits in very nicely with the theme. Perfect for watching as a soft halloween option or if you are like me in the day to begin building the mood. The DVD is released on 15th October 2012 so in good time to get for the day.
