Very sad right now. My lovely snuggly, snuffly bunny Basil died in his sleep this afternoon. He was nearly four years old.
I saw him on Monday & he was a little bit grumpy as he’d had a dodgy tum for a few days but he seemed to perk up so we thought he was ok.
Mum says he was a bit sleepy this morning when she went out to give him & Manuel the guinea pig their breakfast. When she got home from work he was curled up like he was asleep but she realised he had gone.
Rest in peace Basil. You were an utterly awesome bunny!
I’m going home today! After being away for the best part of a week again I am getting the train from Leeds back to London this morning.
Whilst I rather like the adventures travelling around I am pleased to go home & see my loving family, wonderful Tris & my fluffy boys Basil & Manuel. I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed, a cup of tea the way Mum makes it & having some home cooked food. It will also be nice to be able to hear Dad singing out of tune/whistling as he gets ready to take Grandma to church on Sunday morning too. I shall of course be telling him to be quiet though as I can’t let him make too much noise or he’ll be cheeky & think he can get away with it all the time!
