This tree is in the front garden at the Annexe. Every year the blossoms are frothing off the tree on my birthday. I can’t remember a year it didn’t bloom on my birthday although Mum & Grandma tell me there have been one or two years where the weather has meant that the bloom has already happened.

Just a few pictures from our awesome night at Westbourne House Cocktail Bar last night as the first part of my 30th birthday celebrations. I had a really super time with a big group of friends. Pippa looked amazing with her hair all big & quiffy!  I was very flattered by lots of lovely compliments on my outfit (many thanks for buying me the dress Pippa!) & Tris made sure I drank plenty of soda water & lime alongside the cocktails & some wonderful champagne that Tris’ brother bought me (thank you brother-in-law to be!) so I didn’t feel hungover today. The staff were very accommodating & the tapas we ordered to share among the party was delicious especially the olives & crab cakes! The cocktail menu is enormous & the bartender had such great knowledge he was able to whip up my favourite Bramble even though it was not on the regular menu. Without a doubt this is the best birthday I’ve had & it’s only just beginning. Thank you to everyone who has made it special.
