Teasday - Pip’s Passionfruit & Kumquat Bubbleology Review

So! After much pestering & way too much time since the last visit there, Pip has FINALLY finished her Bubbleology review. That’s right. I think the end of the world might be nigh. Anyway, on to the review!

This time I decided to go for a blend of passionfruit and kumquat for my bubble tea, which had the usual tapioca in the bottom for the ‘bubble’ effect. Flavour wise, this one was sweet and refreshing, and a very natural passionfruit kind of taste. There was nothing too synthetic tasting in there which I enjoyed.

I also had the chance to sample some popping boba which I will be adding to my drink next time I go! It’s similar to the tapioca but it pops and has an intense flavour inside. It was particularly exciting to try these as they gave a completely different edge to the drinks themselves and were a lovely fun twist.

All in all, I most definitely will be returning, perhaps next time for a passionfruit and kumquat with popping boba instead! Yum!

Next time from Pip: Still clinging on to the last dregs (appropriate tea joke?) of summer with ‘Summertime’ from Ingrids Teeladen (Small independent German brand)!

Teasday - Bubbleology Passionfruit

Bubble tea is a black or green tea that can be drunk hot or cold. It is shown cold in the video. The drink contains marble sized pearls of tapioca which are sucked up the straw as you enjoy it. The pearls are chewy a bit like gummy sweets & it takes me ages to finish a cup which makes it really great value.

There are lots of different flavour combinations to choose from. My favourite it the Passionfruit Green Bubble Tea. The taste is a brilliant strong passionfruit with an undertone of clean green tea. It is incredibly refreshing & just perfect for a hot day. I shall be returning again soon!
