Here are a few ideas for little inexpensive things to surprise your sweetie on any day of the year (you can try a few of them for extra romance on Valentines Day)
Here are a few ideas for gifts/treats/outings for your loved ones that were put together by me & some of my lovely social network friends!
A classic piece of literature tweaked to include the name of your beloved from bookbyyou. As this is an American company the shipping delays mean the finished book won’t be with you in time for February 14th if you are not resident in the USA however if this sounds like it is right up your sweetie’s street you can print a personalised gift announcement when you order to present to them whilst you wait for it to arrive.
London for Lovers is a book written by a friend of a friend about romantic places in London to go & explore. You can buy it online or in stores to use for your inspiration!
Flavrbox is a great idea for foodies as it brings you a selection of different treats to try. You can easily send them as gifts (or treat yourself). There’s still time to order the February box if you click now!
If your partner has a sweet tooth but is not a chocolate fan try the retro hampers from A Quarter Of if you order today you can get a 15% discount using the code WINTERWARMER at the checkout.
Inn The Park is a favourite of mine. The staff are friendly but polite & the food is just scrumptious! They have a self service café area for more casual snacks/lunches or a table service restaurant section for more formal occasions. Tris & I had one of our early dates there & have returned a few times since to both parts of the restaurant. We are actually booked in to try their brunch menu this week so I will let you know how that goes!
For those of you who would like to buy jewellery as the gift but are not sure what to buy I highly recommend niziblian.com as the place to go. Simply buy a gift card for the day itself & then you can sit down together to come up with ideas for Lydia who will then design something just for you!
Also run by Miss Lydia is Shottle Bop whom I have mentioned before. Again you would need to buy a gift certificate at this late stage but that way you can let your partner pick their own pendant/earrings/brooch from the range or perhaps design a custom piece?
Would your love bunny like to be a gym bunny? Maybe a membership for the local gym would be the perfect gift for them. This is not a gift to buy without being sure the recipient wants to go as offence may be taken. I highly recommend LA Fitness as I love the branches I have visited. The gyms are full of state of the art equipment the swimming pools are crystal clear & inviting whilst the changing rooms are spotlessly clean even at busy times. If you can’t afford to pay a monthly/one off membership fee then for the next two days Groupon are offering ten individual day passes for £27 to LA Fitness gyms (exclusions, terms & conditions apply).
More ideas coming later in the week!
I am busily gathering together ideas for gifts for your loved ones including ideas for those who have a partner like me who is dieting & therefore the usual chocolates & lingerie are out.
I am so looking forward to sharing all the goodies I’ve found!
Tris proposed!
I’m trying to find the right words to tell you the story but my brain is whirling so fast right now I’m struggling.
For now here is a picture of me & my fiancé!
